Welcome to Healthy Hearts

Aroostook County is a uniquely beautiful place. The rolling hills and fields, the forests, lakes, rivers and streams provide a rare setting which allows a connection with nature and the environment that cannot easily be found. "Connections" is what Healthy Hearts, Healthy Community is all about. In 2010, the AstraZeneca HealthCare Foundation provided a grant to Cary Medical Center under a program called "Connections for Cardiovascular Health." Through the grant, Cary Medical Center and other collaborating partners, including the Aroostook Mental Health Center, will help to improve heart health in Northern Maine.
